My cup runneth over...

I am so incredibly thankful that God blessed us with these beautiful children. I am amazed every day that they are actually mine. :) I had their pictures done on Monday by a very talented photographer from Charleston, and these are a few of our favorites. I asked her to take more of Emma Claire since our house is full of pictures of Grayson from the last two years, so this should help to even it up a little. Aren't they beautiful (the pictures and the kids)?

Easter

It's impossible to get both of them to look at the camera at the same time! :)

On the move...

Our little crawler is into EVERYTHING now...I love it!! This video was taken just a few minutes after she started crawling for the first time last week. How precious is she? :)

Eggs galore!!

Grayson went to three Easter egg hunts last week in addition to the ones he did in our backyard after church on Sunday---the kid's social calendar is busier than mine! Here are some of the highlights from our week.

Cabo trip

We had an awesome time in Cabo---and did I mention that it was a FREE trip!?? My parents bought the trip for us and Alan and Anna AND flew to South Carolina to take care of Grayson and Emma Claire while we were gone. How cool is that? Thanks SO much, Mom and Dad!

My college roommate Katie and her hubby Brian also stayed with us in our 2500 sq ft condo, which happened to be located in the prime whale-watching area....it was amazing, every time we looked out at the ocean we could see whales jumping, splashing, and blowing water. Another college friend, Laura, and her hubby Roby, also happened to be in Cabo the same week so we spent lots of time hanging out with them, too. The boys went fishing one day and that night we had the tuna that they caught cooked for us at a local restaurant. YUM! :) Our week was so nice and relaxing---we literally did nothing but eat, drink, swim, lay in the sun, and shop. What a life!

Pictures below...

Okay, this was crazy--it's called a rainbow shot (this was three shots---nine shot glasses per "shot") and it is mixed up in a shaker and then poured into all of the shot glasses. It magically comes out in a rainbow. Anna and I shared one and Ben and Alan each had one of their own. The night got a little wild after that! :

W00T!

My computer is fixed! It's not acting like its usual self but it works well enough to upload pictures. Brace yourselves....loads of pics to come!!

P.S. Many thanks to my brother, Alan, for setting me straight on how to type the word "woot". Who knew that you're supposed to use zeros for the o's? :)

I'm still here!

My computer is still being fixed (I'm using Ben's work computer again right now) so I'm still not able to upload pictures yet. Here are a couple that I do have, though--a sneak peek of the photos I had done of the kiddos on Monday, and our lunch with friends last Saturday after the Junior League Easter egg hunt. We've been BUSY lately and I'm looking forward to finally having my computer back so I can jump back on the blogging bandwagon!

Home again, home again...

We're back!! Ben and I spent last week in beautiful Cabo, Mexico, with my brother Alan, sister-in-law Anna, college roomie Katie, and her hubby Brian. We arrived on my birthday (March 8th) and came home a week later on the 15th. I have tons of pictures to post but my computer is in the shop and Ben's work computer that I'm using right now isn't recognizing my camera for some reason. Cabo was awesome---we did nothing but pig out, drink like fish, lay in the sun, and just plain relax. I missed the children terribly but they were in good hands with my parents. Hopefully my computer will be ready soon and I'll be able to get some pictures up on the blog.

In other news, Emma Claire started CRAWLING yesterday!!! I'm so glad she waited for us to get home! :) She's been really close to crawling for a couple of weeks and yesterday afternoon she let loose and hasn't stopped since. It's so cute to see her determination when she's trying to get to a toy. Watch out world, here she comes!

We're busy still unpacking the new house and getting ready for Easter. Grayson had an Easter egg hunt at his school yesterday (his egg hunt ever!) and made out like a bandit with five whole eggs. :) He has another hunt this weekend that Junior League is putting on so I know he'll have a great time at that one, too.

That's all for now...pictures of the trip, the crawling, and the Easter egg hunt to come whenever my computer is fixed!

Word Cloud

I had a word cloud made from my blog---thanks for the idea, Dena! I was happily surprised to see "love", "loves", and "loving"...exactly how I feel about my precious little family. This is too cute! :)

Update

I haven't had a chance to blog lately because we've been so busy MOVING! We spent Thursday moving into our new house and are finally getting settled. The main rooms are all unpacked but we still have a ways to go with the bedrooms. Mom kept the children all day on Thursday for us--I don't know what we would have done without her help that day! Also, she was awesome enough to spend most of Friday helping me unpack the kitchen as well. Thank you, Mom!! Ben's parents spent the weekend with us and were a huge help---thank you, Nancy and Carroll!! I hope to have everything unpacked and in its place by Friday so we can leave for CABO on Saturday (also my birthday!) and not have to worry about coming home to boxes a week later. We're also having the entire inside of the house painted while we're in Cabo, so coming home to a freshly painted house will be exciting. We LOVE the new house and know that it will be a great place for our family to grow. Grayson has adapted well to the move and especially loves the huge backyard. :)

In other news, our sweet little 8-month-old learned how to get into the sitting position by herself this weekend! She's been sitting for a couple of months but had to be positoned that way, and now she can go from laying down to sitting up all on her own. What a big girl! She's also getting closer and closer to crawling---she spends lots of time scooting around and rocking on all four's, so she will probably be mobile before too long. It's so cute to see how determined she is--such a fun age!

My camera is still packed somewhere so I don't have any new pictures, but hopefully I'll find it in the next few days so I can put up pictures of the kiddos and the new house. :)
