Three feels more like ten...

Once again, so sorry I've been neglecting the blog! Things have got to slow down at some point, right?? I felt like going from one to two children wasn't nearly as difficult as I thought it would be, so I was expecting that going from two to three would be similar. Uh...not so much. Three children (currently ages 3, 2, and 6 weeks) feels more like ten children most of the time. It's been a bit of a difficult transition, but school starts tomorrow for Grayson and Emma Claire so I'm hoping and praying that once we get into a regular routine things will start to settle down.

Okay, now that I have that off my chest, onto a brief update and loads of pictures! Whitt is now six weeks old and growing like crazy. He was up to 10 lb 11 oz last week, a couple of days before he turned 6 weeks. He has pretty bad reflux but it seems to be improving, thank goodness. Current likes: nursing and watching his brother and sister. Current dislikes: trying to fall asleep. :)

Grayson and EC are doing well and are looking forward to school starting. Ben's busy with work but thankfully has been able to spend more time than usual with us in the past couple of weeks. As for me, I feel like I only have half of a brain due to lack of sleep and trying to keep three children entertained and happy while keeping up with laundry, meals, and other household duties! I'm sure it will eventually get easier, so on that note I will leave you with as many pictures as I have time to post. These pictures start about three weeks ago and end yesterday, and you can see how much Whitt has changed just since then. :)

The monkeys with their cousin, Dylan

My friend Jeni and her little boy Jackson came for a visit...
Grayson, Emma Claire, and Jackson

Guess who colored with green marker on her face...

EC, Sanders, Tyler, Grayson, and Gibson. This was after playing outside in the sprinkler and just before Ben gave all five of them a bath and got them ready for bed. Super Daddy! :)

Whitt is catching up to older cousin Taylor!

Ben, Alan, Whitt and Taylor

Freckle face
Grayson, Henry, Ruby, and EC---somebody didn't want to smile nicely for the camera! :)

Ring around the rosies...
pure sweetness!

he loves kisses from his mama!

little tootsies

I just had to include this one---I ordered EC a new white bow and it turns out that it's just a bit too big. If you look closely, you can also see that she took a tumble onto her head this afternoon and has a nice goose egg on her forehead. That's Emma Claire for you! :)

Okay, now that I'm caught up I'm really going to try not to get behind again. Don't hold me to it, though. :)

It was nice to finally meet you! Whitt and Gabby have the same plaid whale outfit...well Gabby's is a bathing suit. She wore it for the first time on the beach trip. I hope everything calms down for you very soon!

hang in there! 3 is definitely a lot more than 2, and I too had a harder time transitioning from 2 to 3 than from 1 to 2... having the older two in school should help a little.

Adorable pictures as always!

Um...you have some typos in here...LOL Three children cannot feel like ten. ACK! Girl, don't say that to me! :)

Once the kids are in school and schedules reappear, I think you will find your groove. Hang in there!
